My favorite band, the Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band, is currently on the run-up to the World’s in Scotland, but one of their first big competitions this year was the annual Coquitlam, BCÂ Highland Games at the end of June.
Here’s a YouTube video taken by an audience member of their DTSPB medley. SFU won the competition but as you can hear, the level of play is extremely high. I enjoyed this competition, and in fact, I’m one of the people in the background under the white tent.
